Microsoft is poised to change the Windows Phone logo from its first circular, green incarnation to a more square, live tiles-resembling shape.
The old logo is still up on the official Windows Phone website but Microsoft has been showing off the new square logo at media events and in promotional pictures without officially announcing it, if they ever do.
Japanese blog Nanapho noticed the change and sniffed out pictures in which the square logo is now used, including the official Japanese Windows Phone site; Nanapho claims that the new logo should be available on the US version of the site by the time Mango is released. Check out how Microsoft has been quietly using the new square logo on their website and then go to this blog to see all of the new square logos in assorted colors.
