Windows Phone 7.10.8200 build spotted in the wild; is Tango being tested?

A new build of Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system was spotted out in the wild. Could Tango, the version after Mango (Windows Phone 7.5) and before Apollo (Windows Phone 8), already be going through testing by Microsoft?

Nanapho used the Dude, Where’s My Update? application to find and spot the 7.10.8200 build out in the wild. Previously, they had seen 7711, 7712, 7715, 7717, 7718, and 7720 but the new build number, 8200, is drastically different from the previous noted builds. Now, the question is whether or not it’s “Tango.”

DigiTimes first reported that the successor to Windows Phone Mango would be Tango, an update that will supposedly sandwich itself between Windows Phone 7.5 and 8. Otherwise, it’s unclear what the update will bring.

Nanapho seems to speculate we should see Skype integration and exclusive-to-Nokia features in Tango, perhaps originally meant for Apollo.
